Halloween 2008

We went trick-or-treating in West Irvine at our friend's neighborhood. The kids did good. Lacy thought a couple of the houses were a little too scary and skipped those ones. Anj thought that this was the greatest thing ever and didn't want to stop!

Here's Anj picking a winner.

Daddy and the kids!

Anj checking out her loot--while still at the door. She's so polite!

Lacy pleased as punch!

More trick-or-treating.

And my handsome handsome lion!

Preschool Halloween Parade & Party

Halmony came down to celebrate Halloween with us. Fortunately for me, Lacy's school party was on Halloween which meant I got extra hands while helping out at school!

Anyone who knows Lacy, knows that overall she is an outgoing girl. But for wahtever reason, she gets shy in front of large crowds and either sticks her fingers in her mouth or sucks on her hair. I can't help but think about Mary Katherine Gallagher

Anyhow, the party was fun. We brought ghost sugar cookies and Lacy was so proud of them.

Pickin' Pumpkins

Cliff had the morning off so we headed over to Irvine Regional Park to buy our pumpkins. This is a fantastic park with a great pumpkin patch, hay maze, haunted house, train ride, and bounce house. I love living so close to such great places for kids!

Of course it wouldn't be sunny SoCal without some 80 degree weather in late October. We sunblocked and wore hats.

My monsters!

Waiting for the train ride!

All aboard!

Picking the perfect pumpkins...actually Anj thought the game was "lets see if I can pick this big one up and throw it!"

I love Lacy's face in this one!

Anj is 2!

My baby girl turned 2! And in true princess form, we celebrated 4 times!

First, we had a BBQ at Granny's!
Anj enjoyed some strawberries dipped in chocolate.

And a Tinkerbell cake!

And presents, YAY!

On her actual birthday, we took her to Red Robin (one of the kids favorite!) and had dinner with our good friends the Derways. We came back home fore cake afterwards!

Next was her party at Chick-Fil-A with all of her little buddies from church. (Wes decided to go punk rock for the occassion.)

Last was porch party at Gma & Gpa Mc's with aunts, cousins and our good friends the Altamiranos.

(Once again, Wes is proving he's one cool dude!)

We are so grateful for all of our friends and family that love my little Anjali and helped us celebrate her birthday!
