Cool Balloon Lady

We went out to dinner at On the Border and they had a balloon lady going around to all the tables. Usually, I'm quite annoyed by the idea of someone trying to mooch more money off of us while we're already paying for a full service meal...but the kids were good and we indulged. I'm not as impressed with the lady bug as I am with tigger. Now you have to admit...That is pretty awesome!

Anjali's Birthday Party

I had so much fun putting together everything for Anjali's party. Here are some pictures to document the day...

I tried to take some candid photos of the birthday girl to create her invitations. I was able to turn THIS:

Into THIS:

The theme of the party was pink and girly (generic)--so here's the cake that Cliff and I created. Can you believe that Cliff did all of the fine details!?! Thanks to Laurie for the idea! Can you tell what it is? It's supposed to be a butterfly:)

This was Anjali's own little cake.

Here's Anjali eating some cake--the only part of the party she was pleasant for.

We did do the traditional korean Toljabee event

Then we opened presents--but Anjali fell asleep. She woke up later with a 104 fever. No wonder she was such a grump!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE....

dressing the girls in matching outfits! I actually have a small collection, but rarely get my camera out to document how cute they are!

Pumpkin Patch Slide

Tonight, we went out to dinner with the Brooks and stopped by the local pumpkin patch afterwards for the kids to run around. There were some HUGE pumpkins that cost over $100! And for the kids, there were bounce houses and big slides, etc. Each ride was only one ticket per person, BUT each ticket cost $3.50! It was so hard to justify since we can go on rides for free at Disneyland--but the kids really wanted to! I got to go on this slide with Lacy. It was so slick. I couldn't steer myself at all. When I did try to steer, I dug my elbows into the slide and ended up having huge burns on both elbows. They turned into big ugly scabs for the next week and a half!

Luckily that crash hurt me and not Lacy. My jaw was sore that night!

This one there were no fatalities!

Zoomars!

The girls and I joined up with some friends to take the Metrolink commuter train down to San Juan Capistrano to visit a small petting zoo called Zoomars. It sure was an adventure and we all enjoyed it! And best part of all, the girls were exhausted afterwards and took great naps!

Here are my favorite train pics!

Little Anjali was a good sport, considering she was trapped in the stroller for nearly all of the trip. I don't think she was too crazy about the animals...

Lacy was as spunky as ever! She was so fearless when it came to petting the animals.

The kiddie train at the zoo! (Poor Anjali...Big Kids have all the fun!)

Lacy's pony ride.

Misc. cute pics!

Anjali Likes Bounce Houses!

Cliff took the girls to our friend Isabella's birthday party (I was in San Diego for a Baby Shower.) And Cliff sent me this picture via cell phone. Don't be alarmed, I am told that she was thoroughly enjoying herself! Here's some more pics--all with Cliff's cell phone. Not too shabby, I think!

Anjali, the Bottomless Pit---and the Disney 5K

I ran the Disneyland 5K on Sunday. It was SO HOT but really fun to run through the parks and backstage. When I signed up a couple months ago, the first thing I told Cliff I wanted to do, was go to Goofy's Kitchen for breakfast afterwards :-P

All the pictures we have of me running are very unflattering--so unfortunately, you will not see any hot, sweaty, bright red, bloated, running pictures of me...I'll leave that up to your imagination.

But guess who worked up an appetite during the 5K? ANJALI! That girl put down! I guess it is hard work to sit in the stroller on the sidelines, waiting for mom to run by. Notice in each picture there are different items of food in front of (or on) her. I'm glad Anjali enjoyed herself--the best part, they don't charge for her, bwahaha!

And in case you were wondering, she did get the runs for the next couple of days.

When Cliff saw that Jasmine was at Goofy's Kitchen he told us that he HAS to get a picture with her. I think its because he's jealous...remember this post?

All in All, It was so much fun and I'll definitely sign up again next year!
