Thanksgiving 2007

The tradition continues--we had Thanksgiving in Big Bear--and all of Cliff's siblings and families were able to make it!

Cliff's Dad (aka Grandpa Clinton) is quite the host. Aside from supplying room and board, he's extended himself to entertainment. He coordinated a fun hayride for the fam! We snuggled under blankets as we rode down quiet residential streets . Cliff sang loudly occasionally joined by others in the group. (Not me of course...;)

While we were there, Cliff took us to the "lightning tree" by the old cabin. It was a fun little walk and there were some cute picture opportunities along the way.

Here's Lacy exploring the new deck that Grandpa Clinton's been building/working on...I like how Lacy has to touch everything. She reminds me of Mr. Monk (does anyone watch that show?).

Anjali enjoyed playing with the the truck and the train. She was intrigued by the dogs. And she made sure to get her Grandpa bonding time in too!

Halloween '07

We went to our friend's neighborhood and did some trick or treating. I think I saw a hundred other kids out on the streets...very impressive. Lacy got a lot of comments on her costume. Anjali, surprisingly, got a lot more comments. I mean it wasn't that big a surprise, how cute is my Anjali and the candy corn costume was one of a kind and so original. (Don''t worry guys, I won't let it get to my head ;)

After we made the rounds, we played for a little bit with Clayton the transformer and Jack the cowboy. We have GREAT friends!

Pumpkin Carving

I was booked until 8PM with tutoring students so Cliff had to carve the pumpkin without me....honestly, I don't really help because it grosses me out. Cliff's cousin Kortney was a saint, came down and helped keep the girls out of the way while Cliff had knife in hand. We let the girls run around the patio and play in pumpkin goop and newspaper. They were SO filthy. Here's pics of my cute girls!

Halloween at Preschool

Lacy's school had a Halloween Party Day. The whole school paraded and then there was a party in the individual classrooms afterwards. In order to preserve the delicate handmade masterpiece Belle Dress for Halloween I picked up this cute ladybug costume from target. Lacy loved it. She was so cute. And the only Ladybug.

Lacy's class is the youngest class--so it makes me giggle to see them all line up and hold on to a rope. hehe. SO CUTE!

We joined the class for the party. Poor Anjali--she wants to be a big girl so bad! Or she just really loves food...

I love this---in true Lacy form. Her class decorated cupcakes before the party. When I looked at the table with all the cupcake masterpieces, I quickly found Lacy's without looking at the names. First tip off was that most of the frosting looked like it had already been licked off. Second tip off was that Everyone else's cupcakes had 3 times more candy corn.

Trunk or Treat '07

Hey--it was fun--I made the girls' costumes....And we won a prize for best costume for Lacy's belle dress. Not too shabby ;)

Stalking Jasmine

While I was madly trying to finish up the girls' Halloween costumes for the trunk or treat tonight, Cliff met up with some family and had breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen. Fortunately, for Cliff, Jasmine was there...and he took lots of pictures of Jasmine--with the kids, of course. Aladdin was a little flamboyant I was told, definitely not the same one that I liked.

After breakfast they went to Disneyland and California Adventure. The Halloween decorations were in full bloom. And Since the adult to kid ratio was in Cliff's favor, he got a lot of cute pictures!
