Lacy's Mani/Pedi

Lacy was in a really playful mood today--just singing and pretending with her barbie dolls. I especially appreciated this since I had some tutoring students over. I had two 8th grade boys over preparing for a test and they kept giggling at my goofy Lacy and her very girly singing and pretending noises. After a few minutes, one of the boys had noticed that Lacy had gotten really quiet and peeked over at her. Then he says, "uh..Leah, she's drawing marker all over herself..." I looked over to see that she had grabbed a hold of a purple marker and had colored her fingernails and then her toenails...and all over her leg. We all laughed. I explained to the boys that Lacy's always asking me to paint her nails--and I guess she just couldn't wait any longer.
