Irvine 5K

We got up early this morning to participate in the Irvine 5K. (Notice how I chose the word PARTICIPATE instead of RUN) Kaiser Permanente sponsored the event--we saw a lot of people from Cliff's office. Lacy was at a church activity, so we took the 2 little kids with us.

It took us about 48 minutes to finish--walked the whole time. Our friend Skip looked up our time online and asked me later if we ran it backwards (because it took us so long). In our defense, we were sick. But excuses aside, the highlight of the run for Cliff was sprinting the last 100 yards, racing a 10 year old girl. The highlight for me was getting this adorable picture of my handsome little man!

The kids did really well. It was a nice day for a walk.
