Wesley had his restraints on--I just don't trust that kid...

They passed out certificates and Mrs. Mindy gave each of her students a gift. (The girls got a Disney princess sand pail and shovel. The boys got a Spiderman water shooter.)

I wanted to make the day special for Lacy, so I asked her if there was anything fun she'd like to do to celebrate her last day of school. Lacy's choice was getting Chick-Fil-A for lunch and going to the drive-thru car wash. (It's the simple things in life!)
Here we are about to pull into the carwash.

Eating their chicken nuggets and enjoying the show.

Wesley doesn't know what to think.

That evening the preschool put on a "Promotion Ceremony" (yes folks, that's the politically correct term for graduation). Lacy had been singing her song around the house and in the car for a couple weeks before the ceremony. It was nice to hear it with music--the song made a whole lot more sense.
After they sang, the kids received medals.

The school did an ice cream social after the ceremony. The line was really long! We ran in to get one final picture with Mrs. Mindy (and drop off a baby gift, she's expecting her first girl!) and then had our own ice cream social with a few friends at the McDonalds down the street.

Here's a class picture from a few days earlier at Mrs. Mindy's baby shower. They were a cute class!
